Bring the match.
Start with a Play-Cricket scorecard and an uploaded recording or authorised video source. Match data and footage are supplied separately.
Your club’s best performances deserve more than a scorecard. Athly is building a simpler way to turn match footage into highlights worth sharing.
For club volunteers, finding the boundaries, wickets and celebrations in hours of footage is another job after the match. The moments are there. The time to share them often isn’t.
Athly is being built for grassroots cricket clubs, team admins and the people looking after their social channels. Our aim: less searching and cutting, more celebrating the players and the club.
The workflow we’re developing combines scorecard facts with the footage, then keeps you in the review loop.
Start with a Play-Cricket scorecard and an uploaded recording or authorised video source. Match data and footage are supplied separately.
Use the scorecard to identify qualifying milestones, then look for the relevant boundaries and wickets in the video. Uncertain moments are surfaced for review.
The goal is one social-ready highlight reel per qualifying performance, using reviewed clips. Preview the result before downloading and sharing it yourself.
A scorecard tells us what happened. It doesn’t prove where it happened in the video. Athly’s approach pairs cricket context with visual evidence and a review step when a moment is uncertain.
We’re validating the workflow on real match footage. Reliable end-to-end delivery is still being developed; autonomous highlights, live processing and provider partnerships are not established capabilities.
Grassroots cricket clubs, especially UK clubs using Play-Cricket and recording their matches. We’re focused on the volunteers and team admins who turn those performances into club content.
No. The scorecard provides match and performance context. Footage comes separately from an uploaded recording or a source the club has permission to use. Provider integrations are future work, not assumed access.
Athly is an early-stage product, not a generally available service. We’re developing and validating milestone identification, clip review and reel finishing. This page introduces the product and our direction.
The review-first approach surfaces candidate clips for confirmation or rejection. Missing or unresolved moments stay explicit; the goal is a usable reel with your approval, not an unverified automatic result.
Help shape a better way to share grassroots cricket. We’d love to hear how your club records matches and what you want to create.
